Craig Dinkel's adventurous life began with a near-drowning at the very young age of just 2. But instead of this experience leaving him with a fear of water, Craig ultimately became an excellent swimmer competing for Cal State and qualifying for the Olympic trials. He’s an entrepreneur having grown a company from ground level into a half billion dollar market only to be wiped out by the dot com crash. Craig eventually found himself at the summit of 13,775 ft Grand Teton in Wyoming and ultimately catching the bug to attempt a through hike of the Continental Divide Trail and hopefully bag the triple crown thru-hiking the Continental Divide Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail. Craig is also the founder and owner of the supplements company BioTropic Labs.

Mt Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest peak extending 19,341 ft above sea level. As the tallest free-standing mountain in the world, it’s made up of 3 volcanic cones, the highest being Kibo which is currently dormant. Although Kibo hasn’t erupted in 360,000 years, there’s always a chance it could do so again someday. On today’s show, Jeff Timmons talks about his ascent of Mt Kilimanjaro and his unique way of funding his amazing adventure.

Check out today's show where Matt Feeney rocks the mic with the stories we all need to hear to remind us that life is to be lived powerfully and on purpose, no matter the circumstances. Matt Feeney was an avid mountain biker and skier when a cliff diving accident at Lake Powell in 1988 left him paralyzed from the waist down. Since then he has again become an amazing skier and biker and SCUBA diver and more..., as well as founding the amazing organization, Adaptive Adventures.
